Paws & People Wellness Escape by PawketPlace, a pet and human wellness day
Date: 18 July
Time: 830am-6pm
Venue: AIBI Maxwell, 30 Maxwell Road
This is a reminder that pet owners deserve care, rest, guidance, and emotional support. Not every pet event needs to be loud. Sometimes, what pet owners really need is a space to slow down.
To learn. To connect. To breathe. To ask better questions.
To feel a little less alone in the journey of caring for someone they love so much.
Pet care is not just about our pets. It is also about the humans behind them. At PawketPlace, we believe better pet care starts with clearer guidance, stronger community, and more honest conversations about what pet ownership really looks like. And that is exactly what this event is created for.
Why We Created Paws & People Wellness Escape
When people talk about pet care, the conversation often starts with food, grooming, vet visits, training, supplements, and daily routines. But there is another part of pet ownership that is rarely spoken about openly: the mental and emotional wellbeing of the pet owner.
That is why Paws & People Wellness Escape includes mental wellbeing as a key part of the experience. Through therapist-led wellness circles and guided conversations, we want to create a safe, gentle space for pet owners to acknowledge the emotional side of pet parenthood from everyday overwhelm to worry, guilt, anticipatory grief, and the deep bond we share with our pets.
Being a better pet owner starts with allowing yourself to feel supported too.
A Wellness Day for Both Pets and Pawrents
When we say this is a wellness day, we mean it.
Pet owners can look forward to curated zones and experiences that are designed to support both sides of the relationship: the pets we love, and the people doing their best to care for them.
There will be spaces to learn about pet health, nutrition, movement, behaviour, first aid, and long-term wellbeing. There will also be opportunities to slow down, recharge, and reflect on the emotional side of pet parenthood something we believe deserves more attention.
What You Can Expect at the Event
At Paws & People Wellness Escape, attendees can explore a mix of talks, wellness activities, community experiences, brand showcases, and guided sessions.
The Bonding Zone, curated by PawketPlace, is created to reflect the love, responsibility, memories, and emotional journey of pet parenthood.
The Recharge Zone gives tired pawrents a chance to pause and reset, including a 15-minute head and shoulder massage experience.
The Reconnect Zone brings together expert talks, demonstrations, workshops, and meaningful conversations around pet wellbeing.
There will also be local finds, giveaways, photo moments, and space to connect with fellow pet owners in a more relaxed and intentional way.
It is still a pet event. Just one with more heart, more guidance, and more room to breathe.
Learning Before Something Goes Wrong
Many pet owners only learn certain things after a scare happens. Through this event, we want to make preventive and proactive care feel less intimidating and more accessible.
Pet owners will get to hear from professionals across areas such as nutrition, movement, training, first aid, and long-term pet wellbeing. These sessions are designed to help pet owners understand how to support their pets better before problems become bigger. It should begin with awareness.
The Emotional Side of Pet Ownership
One of the most important parts of this event is also one of the least talked about parts of pet ownership: the emotional journey.
Our pets are family. Their health affects us. Their ageing affects us. Their behaviour changes affect us. Their pain affects us. Their absence, even the thought of it, can affect us deeply.
Yet many pet owners carry these emotions quietly.
At Paws & People Wellness Escape, we want to create space for these conversations too. Because being a responsible pet owner does not mean pretending everything is easy. It means learning how to care better, while also giving ourselves permission to feel what comes with loving deeply.
More Than an App, A Pet Care Community
PawketPlace is more than an app. We are building a pet care community that cares for both you and your pets.
Our digital platform is here to help pet owners manage care with more clarity from tracking pet expenses to organising care needs and supporting more confident decision-making. But we also know that technology alone is not enough.
Pet care is personal.
It needs trust.
It needs community.
It needs real conversations.
It needs people, professionals, and partners coming together to make the journey less confusing and less lonely.
Paws & People Wellness Escape is one step in that direction. It is our way of bringing pet owners, pet care professionals, wellness facilitators, and brand partners together in one shared space not just to transact, but to support, educate, and build a better pet care ecosystem.
Who This Event Is For
This event is for the pet owner who wants to care better but does not always know where to start.
It is for the first-time pawrent who feels overwhelmed by information.
It is for the experienced pet owner who wants to learn more about preventive care.
It is for the introverted pet owner who enjoys community, but prefers something calmer and more meaningful than a crowded shopping-style event.
It is for the person who loves their pet deeply, but sometimes carries the emotional weight quietly.
It is for anyone who believes pet care should be more thoughtful, more guided, and more human.
